Stick 'em Up: Celebrating Dillinger's 1933 Raid on RAM
with the Prints of Warrington Colescott

On November 20, 1933, John Dillinger robbed the bank
that once occupied the R[acine] A[rt] M[useum]
building. To mark the 70th anniversary of this
historic event, RAM has organized an exhibition of
graphics featuring Dillinger by the internationally
known painter and draftsman, Warrington Colescott. RAM
has the largest public collection of this Wisconsin
artist's work in the world. This exhibition will
present examples of Colescott's prints from the 1960s
and 1970s dealing with Dillinger and his exploits.
