Simpsons, German

Well, I hope Heikki's MY friend, at any rate.  And
Kai.  And ... and ... but I believe Heikki was put
upon for three factors that are generally not gaining
with the many German postings here.  First off, it's
far easier to run the German through an online
translator, at least for an initial approximation. 
Beacuse my e-mail, at least, couldn't properly
reproduce all those Scandinavian vowels, I couldn't do
the same with Heikki's posting.  Also, I think that
perhaps many of us recognize, perhaps ecause of
Pynchon, at least a few key terms in German, and can
get the gist of what's being posted with a little
effort.  Further, however, and more crucially, Heikki
was posting burningly vital information, regarding not
only Pynchon, but also "The Simpsons."  It's a matter
of priorities.  And my undersatnding is, at least one
eminent subscriber to this list is indeed making the
worthy effort to Sprechen sie Deutsche (?) ...
