VLVL2 (9): Chuck, The World's Most Invisible Robot

146.7:  "The PA came on.  'We are approaching the famous Chipco "Technology City," home of "Chuck," the world's most invisible robot.' "

Free-associating here, but to me this seems to be a weird combination of the robot duck that would eventually become part of Mason & Dixon, as well as a twist on a Disneyland tour which, of course, is parodied to a degree by Isaiah 2:4 earlier in the novel with his violence Theme Park idea (p. 19).
