VLVL2 (9.5): "A Rented Firebird"

Being not very knowledgeable about car models, I passed over the rented
Firebird supposing it a real model. After all, there is a Thunderbird; I
guess the Firebird is a close competitor. And there's Stravinsky's famous
Firebird Suite. Anyone know of a car named for a glamorous piece of music?
Would Phoenix be an appealing - to some sports car enthusiasts - name for a
car?
About "reborn on borrowed time" maybe someone will comment. Thanks for all,
Dave Monroe.
