God's tooth - how on earth do you get that from what I wrote!
One post you reckon I don't like the book, next post I like parts of it and 
only look at them.

I am certainly more capable of immediately understanding the aspects of the 
book where the subject matter is familiar to me but that doesn't blind me 
to the rest. One of the advantages of being in this group is having access 
to other readings.

Glad I gave you the opportunity to post your recipe for literary 
appreciation - enjoyable to read, but excuse me if I stick to my own 
method, I don't find it really matters which order you add the ingredients, 
as long as you stir well as you go, and cook it slowly.
