ancestral night - as death, recalls Buddhist renunciation of rebirth.
ancestral night - as ... (what word? gnosis/soul/naught) leads one to
effortlessly evade Jehovah's commandment to multiply, original crime.

 28 I;
 29 My self . Montashigi, third of his family, fashioned it
 30 Five hundred years ago, about it lie
 31 Flowers from I know not what embroidery --
 32 Heart's purple -- and all these I set
 33 For emblems of the day against the tower
 34 Emblematical of the night,
 35 And claim as by a soldier's right
 36 A charter to commit the crime once more.

Thinking with his other brain (as my wife so oft accuses),
his libido worships his necessary being, his procreator,
in English, Fuck, who as Revelation reveals, "created all
things, and for whose pleasure they are, and were created."

 38 My Soul. Such fullness in that quarter overflows
 39 And falls into the basin of the mind
 40 That man is stricken deaf and dumb and blind,

I claim it is discovery of AF in the overripe youth that
leads to metanoia, metamorphosis, psychosis, direct gnosis
of transcendental ideas; whence probably arose the meaning
of our euphemism "to know" to describe sexual intercourse.
deaf dumb and blind [kid] - "you know where to put the cork"

Psychology calls this a loss of ego boundary, but you might
determine that from AF' shape, which is of a Klein bottle.
He has lost his individual subjectivity, having put object
body into subject mind, past Kant: Zeus begetting Athena.
Of him, (quoting from memory:) the Law commands jouissance.
He is no longer subject to the Law, but has become the Law.

tongue's a stone - when I surfed a few keywords to locate
this poem's source, I pulled up all kinds of gnostic texts.
One played well in the AF trope: of a keystone in an arch.

Also, I remembered this quote from _The Gospel of Truth_:
"Truth appeared; all its emanations recognized it. They actually
greeted the Father with a power which is complete and which joins
them with the Father. For each one loves truth because truth is
the mouth of the Father. His tongue is the Holy Spirit, who joins
him to truth attaching him to the mouth of the Father by his tongue
at the time he shall receive the Holy Spirit."

 47 My Self . A living man is blind and drinks his drop.
 48 What matter if the ditches are impure?
 49 What matter if I live it all once more?
 50 Endure that toil of growing up;
 51 The ignominy of boyhood; the distress
 52 Of boyhood changing into man;
 53 The unfinished man and his pain
 54 Brought face to face with his own clumsiness;
 55 The finished man among his enemies? --
 56 How in the name of Heaven can he escape
 57 That defiling and disfigured shape
 58 The mirror of malicious eyes
 59 Casts upon his eyes until at last
 60 He thinks that shape must be his shape?

plight of that specifically abject AF man.

 61 And what's the good of an escape
 62 If honour find him in the wintry blast?

versus death I guess

 63 I am content to live it all again
 64 And yet again, if it be life to pitch
 65 Into the frog-spawn of a blind man's ditch,
 66 A blind man battering blind men;

The eye (hole) that does not see.
Reflexion, like Stevens' ring of men.

 67 Or into that most fecund ditch of all,
 68 The folly that man does
 69 Or must suffer, if he woos
 70 A proud woman not kindred of his soul.

This contrasts ordinary coitus and begetting.
