The double entendre on the name "Log Jam", at least, is obvious enough,
though it's worth interrogating that scene a bit more closely. This was
apparently always the name of the bar, even before it became an up-market
haunt. Zoyd's transvestitism is an act, and to categorise it as "homosexual
stuff" is inaccurate. Even Lemay's advances (he keeps calling Zoyd "Cheryl"
8.12) don't necessarily fit the label.
I don't think there are "homosexual overtones present in every chapter thus
far", as you stated, and I disagree that Prairie's response to DL is sexual.
