BTW, when I use the term "Left-Wing" in these posts I am talking about, 

1. Communists
2. trade unionist who did not belong to Communist organizations (front
of otherwise) but who were intellectually and emotionally socialists. 
3. Fellow travelers or those individuals who agreed with the Party
position on a variety of issues, trade union & etc., but were not
Communists, either formally or philosophically.
