Really? I think it looks just fine! Of course, it's all done up in
movie-trailer hyperbole and sound-bites, but the actual look and feel of the
movie seems pretty good to me...! And in general, I trust Peter Weir....

Though obviously they are not actually following the storyline of "Far Side
of the World." It looks like a blend of that book and "Desolation Island."

How is this Pynchon related? Well, "Mason & Dixon" of course, where Pynch
