The intellectual origins of America-Bashing

Since the first phrase could just as well be replaced with 'After so many 
years of Capitalist exploitation...' what is in question is the willingness 
to adhere to the possibility of improved systems, not one or the other.

Some of us remain loyal to the possibilities of bringing into being an 
economically and socially just system of human social organisation along 
the lines of
"from each according to their abilities and to each according to their 
needs" - we are socialists.
Others prefer
"to each according to their abilities and from each according to their 
needs" - they are capitalists.
