VLVL(4)(bb) Force Majeure

"So Bigfoot bein' force majeure, we got the legal salvage rights."  (VL,
Ch. 4, p. 44)  Force majeure meaning "greater force" which is used as
contract language in order to escape obligations under the contract (the
greater force being an act of God).  The use here is interesting,
perhaps intended as a couple of rednecks might interpret the situation,
however, legally they have no salvage rights under a force majeure

rights themselves are applicable to maritime salvage and unless this
Edsel's actually in a swamp, the maritime salvage code doesn't apply.
