VLVL(4)(ff) Pothead Paranoia

Call me ridiculous, but I've always felt that the level of pot-induced
paranoia is proportional to the amount of guilt one feels (guilt over
smoking dope, guilt over smoking dope at that particular moment, guilt over
other issues, even guilt stemming from religious convictions about drug
use).  This is derived from a high school buddy who came from a devout Roman
Catholic background and, whenever he smoked up in our garage, became riddled
with paranoia that he was "sinning."  The paranoia/guilt has apparently
continued into adulthood, too.
