I was listening to the radio again today, Unwelcome Guests #149. It starts
out with a nice talk on war by Lawrence Ferlinghetti; then another
fellow--ex-military, reformed young republican--talks about the US's quest
to be Masters of Space. In getting there he brings up Mittelwerk, describing
it just like Pynchon. It surprised me because I didn't know it was a real
place, at least by name. Then he said the guy's name who ran it: Von Braun.
Of course I immediately thought of Brock Vond, especially when he goes on to
say that Von Braun came to America to head up our missile program after the
War. Him and a whole lot of other rocket scientists.
So what ever happened to old Pokler anyway?
It was a pretty interesting speech after that. He goes into a good bit of
detail about the place, Dora, the slaves--and how it all relates to today's
US quest for world domination, through space. Von Braun/Brock Vond--Masters
of Space/Master Race.
Have a listen:

#149 (hour 2 for Mittelwerk talk)
The United States has become a fascist country and the American people don't
realize it - this is what overseas audience members told Bruce Gagnon, who
we're going to hear in the second hour of the show.

There is a history of fascist collaboration in the United States, especially
among the so-called captains of industry and the military. IBM provided the
technology that enabled Hitler to identify Jews and others slated for the"
final solution", and IBM's designers had to know what their products were
being used for in order to create the customized services Hitler required.
Car maker Henry Ford was an open fascist sympathizer and Prescott Bush, the
grandfather of George W, had business ties with the Nazis. The Italian
fascist dictator, Benito Mussolini, was praised in the American press and
had many admireres among American business leaders. And, as you will hear
tonight, Nazi scientists and military officers were brought to America after
world war two to develop mad head the US missile program, the space program
and the CIA.

The wars against Iraq and Agnostic were planned long before 9/11 and are
part of a larger strategy to enforce corporate globalization at gunpoint.
Tonight in our first hour you're going to hear readings from a document
which is a blueprint detailing how this can be militarily accomplished, a
study by the Project for a New American Century released in the year 2000,
commissioned by a group of people who now hold high government offices.

Von Braun, who died in 1977, would eventually become a hero to many for
enabling the United States to beat Russia to put a man on the moon. But his
legacy includes the production of V-2 rockets with the help of Russian,
French and Polish prisoners of war working under deplorable conditions,
Neufeld said. About 10,000 of the prisoners died of malnutrition and
disease.
