What is it about Frenesi? Does he love her? Does she give great skull? 
What? 

Something in the way she moves? 

Or is it something about Brock Vond? 

Zoyd hardly knows this chick. Sure he married her on the groovy high of
LSD, but she's educated pussy, political, Red Herstory and soooo very
inappropriate. She meets him at work. Could have been the bass player.
Gordita Beach... then pregnancy and postpartum complications. OK, pal.
Let her go. 

But he can't. It's a double bind. At first he obsesses about Brock Vond
and neglects his kid.  He forgets about Brock and Hector and all that,
settles in Vineland, never quite making Daddy of the month ...  but he's
built something ... his relationship with his daughter is below average
even for a pot head but ... he's got his window gig, his pot, his
business deals ... welcome to the planet earth, Zoyd ... and they all
come back into his life like a bunch of outlaws. 

Zoyd goes to Hawaii. Has to get a job to get there. Frenesi doesn't.
Man, this guy is in L O V E. Right? Yeah, with death. Not suicide. No,
Zoyd's never gonna jump through a window like dear Deleuze. He's in love
with the Man with the gun and the badge and the power and the machine.
So he goes to Hawaii to find Brock. Poor Zoyd, when will ever stop
driving his machine in the dark looking for Death in all the wrong
places.
