Understanding Auto-Fellatio, etc.

And don't get me wrong, I'm *not* knocking it.  But it seems to be
predicated on a terminology and complex symbol system that I could probably
understand if I tried more.  But I'm wondering what its rationale as a
textual reading process is.  Is it Freudian?  Is it something unique to
Glenn's own experiences?  To what end(s) does it help us understand text?

Just curious, is all.
