Well as to the bass line in Free's All Right Now I am assuming you think its
double tracked when he alternates the line in the guitar solo section with
the high notes.
Assuming that is what you are getting at I would argue it is not double
tracked at all. You just need to use the open A string to play the A- F#- E
figure, palm mute and very quickly jump to the high register. I can play it
that way and have seen Fraser do it in a very old film clip.
