I apologize, I wasn't entirely sure it was your assertion and should have asked, but I have difficulty  following the organization in some threads, and rude name calling is not necessary in a case like this.  I am not expert in the protocol here and I apologize again if I'm arguing with the wrong asserter, but my intent was to argue with the asssertion from personal memory of this time in america, which has become more acute through participation in  this list.

I do not wish to instigate personal anger. My arguments on this list, whether cool or heated in temperament are about ideas, history, and the book. I hope I can continue in that spirit and be read in that spirit.
