With the spread of blogs, you never know how many 
people you?re talking to anymore. Gawker links today
to a 
blog which recounts a recent conversation with a Simon
& 
Schuster editor working on Paris Hilton?s book. The 
second-hand report maintains that, "Simon & Schuster 
agreed as part of the deal to provide someone to read
the 
final manuscript aloud to Ms. Hilton for her input and

approval." But Hilton was still finding it hard "to
follow 
along with her life story as it was being read to
her." She 
asked to have the photo being used for the jacket sent
to 
her,  "so that she could concentrate on it as her 
autobiography was cooed to her."

Another tidbit explains why Paris did not want to
remain a 
full-time model: "I tried it a couple of times, but I
didn't 
like it. The dressing area smelled too much like throw

up."
