I would say so too, Tarantino's Bride is very D.L. like. The notion of the
female ninja killer has been around for a while. Two that seem influential
to me are, Gibson's Molly "Razorblade" Million and Miller& Sienkiewicz's
cartoonish Elektra. I would link Molly to Trinity and and Elektra to D.L..
Sienkiewicz is always so pynchonized, and the whole
CIA-stratocruiser-piracy thing is there. Or was it there before Vineland?
