Chasing evils is sort of like chasing one's own tail. If good and evil are inherent, and do not succumb to the mechanistic causal viewpoint of "Western" civilization, then it will consume itself trying to root out the tail and destroy it.

And good riddance to any species stupid enough to fall for that old con.
