Reminds me of the Glen Cove business.
Glen Cove is in fact Pynchon's hometown.
We can't possibly know that Kubrick doesn't use the hometowns of authors
he's read as locales for his movies.
We don't know the names of all the novels k's read and whether towns in
those books corresponded to towns in K's movies.
P-list minds sometimes run in similar circles.
I know mine is no exception.
