libraries closing

We're losing more than this one. Oh well, Bush and Co. certainly don't care about a literate public. Where are our priorities????, With the supermarket tabloids which are a demonstration of the best of capitalism?

The Salinas library is closing. This was the home of John Steinbeck. It's about a hundred miles from me. We're losing libraries all over the state.
