This isn't Frenesi's vision, nor is Prairie the girl serving the wine, which
is what the 'Babies of Wackiness' guys say. It's a subjunctive projection:

Unluckily for Rex, the "dreamed hillside ... in some 1980s world of the
future" (246.32.4) isn't to be, because Frenesi sets them both up.
