Funny, there was no mention of Venus in the KJV,
nor of Mars, save when Paul stood on Mars' Hill.
But these are near synonyms:

til the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 001
D:\i\kn\Isaiah.txt
thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how
D:\i\kn\Job.txt

D:\i\kn\Jude.txt

D:\i\kn\Revelation.txt
And I will give him the morning star. 002:029 He that hath a
vid, and the bright and morning star. 022:017 And the Spirit
It's from such odd places that I learned the planet Venus
is Hesperus in the evening, but Phosphorus in the morning:

Take once more the well-worn story about the ancient
astronomer | call him 'Ptolemy' | who was unaware of the
fact that Hesperus, which he identified as a certain star
observed at dusk in the eastern sky, is the same celestial
body as Phosphorus, which he identified as a certain planet
observed at dawn in the western sky.

Russellianism implies that any two belief
sentences, that differ only in containing distinct
co-referring names, express the same proposition (in any
given context). Since `Hesperus' and `Phosphorus' both refer
to the planet Venus, this view implies that all utterances
of (1) and (2) express the same proposition and have the
same truth value.
You know of course, planets were called wandering stars,
and both Mars and Venus are "morning stars" because they
are often seen at sunrise due to their near-sun orbits,
which also causes retrograde motion relative to the sky.
In fact, I think it's five such acts per year for Venus
which associates that planet with five point pentagrams.
Venus is bright, thus the name Lucifer, or light-bearing,
whereas Mars appears red, even to the naked eye.
