I find this confusing.  How does the fact of its existence on the internet
prove its authenticity?  I could show you the Autobiography of Jesus Christ
on the internet -- is that authentic?

Has anyone seen this interview in its published form?  Does anyone have the
magazine?  If so, could they perhaps scan it for everyone?  Let another
translator take a look?  (In his autobiography, Jesus is quite tolerant of
Thomas' need for physical evidence...).
