Robert Hughes and Goya

Enjoying Hughes' new biography of Goya (lots of
faboulous reprints) and hughes' writing is crisp w/
that offhand humor I so like.
he connects his love of goya's work with a recent dark
period in his life which makes his insights all the
more immediate I suppose.

an artist from long ago still relevant today.
