Jews, hell, if there's a Roman Anti-Defamation League
out there, they oughtta get their lawyers cracking on
this.  The Romans here, by the way, have Italian
accents, breaking the longstanding tradition, all
movie Romans (Kirk Douglas excepted) are British. 
Brutal, esp. when you think aboput Jim Caviezel having
to spent days, weeks, months of shooting under teh hot
sun encrusted with red-food-coloring-dyed corn syrup
or whatever.  Features much postscriptural apocrypha,
plus the single creepiest Satan shot since The
Exorcist.  Otherwise, replete with all the recent
cliches of the genre: long sky shots, slow motion,
golden-lit flashbacks, vaguely Middle-Eastern "world"
(read, Orientalist) music soundtrack, whatever beards
yr current hirsute hipsters are wearing, et al.  But
you gotta love a Biblical epic that comes with a
parental guidance warning.  Not quite "Biblical" as in
"as in Biblical," but ...
