Brown is a so called neo-Fredian, a dialectician, whereas Freud and
marcuse are Agonists. Brown is much more fun, a visionary, but Pynchon
is Freudian to the bone and when you read Adams and Eddins, you'll see
his Catholicism and Conservatism too.
