Yes.  The Earth Our Mother is still good, and that includes the whole cycle. 
  The problem is US.  But even we are not bigger than good old 
scatterbrained mother nature, and if we pass on, she will survive us and go 
on.  Humility would seem to be the antidote to the Blicero disease, the 
disease that we all must fight within ourselves.  Remember the scene where 
the rats come out of their cages and perform a great stage show?  It ends 
with a lament that centers our knowledge that we will all die as the Big 
Problem (consciousness).  It's not something we are able to forget,  but we 
can still love our Mother...
