That view and cliché, the Left coast, fruits flakes and nutz,  was
popular back in the late 60s and early 70s, but California and the
perception of it from NY  has changed quite a bit since then. I can't
imagine any New Yorker even making the comparison now. I mean, like, why
state the so obvious. That's kind like going to Mexico City and saying,
"God, what this city needs is some order and progress," and then hiring
Lula to manage the money.
