Why "late" 1967? Any evidence? (And, you're welcome, by the way.) Why not
spring, or summer? Is there a particular demonstration in 1967 which fits
the description in the text of the "fighting on the hill" (116-7)?

Sister Rochelle is being ironic in addressing DL as "Thirty-year-old,
hardcase, cold and beautiful child". She's chiding her. Her point is that
DL's no longer a child; she's not documenting DL's exact age.
