Was working at Latest Nites Books and Videos when this guy came running
in and asked if we had Pynchon's Latest. Paulie, our pet parrot, started
telling the poor guy the entire tale.  Being that we wuz in an
unincorporated county in an anonymous state in the union I led him down
into the basement to out Pynchon collection. Ah, I miss that job, the
stories it could tell.
