It's all just war in Vietnam all over again. War on Poverty, on Drugs,
on Terrorism. 

Declarations? 

We don't need no stinking declarations.  Hostilities are never started,
no ultimatums made, no diplomatic fusses, no closure, no treaties worth
signing. No more open or fortified towns and villages, no more
distinctions; soldiers are civilians, authorized are unauthorized. It
War by all means of destruction necessary or unnecessary. 

Victory? 

War is no longer an act of rape between nations; it must be a sadistic
crime, the possession of the dead victim, and hence in fact a
non-possession. It can no longer exhibit a normal sexual instinct, or
even the passion that employs and transcends this instinct, but only
that irrepressable perversion of passion, the castration complex.
