Yeah, that and the rest of it contradict everything Pynchon has ever
written about America. Sorry, but this Playboy Japan Interview simply
isn't worth our time. It reminds of the nonsense about P having created
a Reagan-Smith persona in Slow Learner and the nonsense about the Into
to Orwell's novel being some sort of cryptic message about 9-11.
