I tried to get the film for the April 3 Pynchon program at the Smithsonian.
Even the clips were too expensive for us. Would love to find out if anyone
figures out a cheaper way. THe distribution company, Medialuna was not
terribly helpful - they couldn't be bothered to respond even when we invited
the directors to present.
But so what - we've got the V-2 rocket at Air & Space, Brian McHale, and
special guest appearances by Dr. Daw and others. Who knows who might be
conjured at this gathering...
