I was in the same boat as you describe above.  I believed Bush's lies, not 
fathoming that he could push us into a war with no justification.  And not 
only that, but the arrogance of his administration to *igmore* the advice of 
the Pentagon on HOW to conduct the war - assumung that we would be embraced 
as liberators, and deploying far fewer troops than necesary to maintain 
control of the country - and THEN destroying all vestiges of moral standing 
by *ignoring* the Geneva rules by condoning torture.....  It all makes me 
want to SCREAM!!!
