the next group read?

Am I alone in thinking GRGR(3?) sounds a bit ambitious? Just the thought of
*reading* it again makes me cringe a bit. I for one would not be able to
commit to anything due to work constraints (although I did recently roll out
that stunningly unknown parabola poem :), but maybe a preliminary list of
potential hosting volunteers would be in order...? Something like Keith's
proposal from 1999 for instance (adjust for new calendar obviously):

Date: Mon, 15 Mar 1999 22:11:41 -0800
From: s~Z <mcmullenm@[omitted]>
To: Various Positions List <pynchon-l@[omitted]>
Subject: GRGR: Host Sign-Up List

So this is a test to see if there is enough interest to get GRGR going.
If you're interested enough to host a section, enter your name after the
desired section and reply to the list. Suggested starting date--Monday,
May 3. Page numbers are taken from the Viking (Just Like A) Penguin (In
Bondage) edition. If we get 10 hosts, I say let's go for it.

It's in your hands.
