For those who would like to visualize the affaire de frigates at the 
beginning of M&D I might recommend this film. The Surprize is much 
like the jackass frigate where the Surveyor discover the horrors of 
sea warfare, while the Acheron is much like St. Foux's man-of-war (is 
St. Foux the one who strafes the Brit ship?).
