1. I don't think that Magic Eyes are needed.

2. No, I don't think that this thread has anything to do with Charles. We've
got two independent German sources claiming that Kubrick paid tribute to
Pynchon by choosing that road sign. I simply agree to Kai and disagree to
MalignD. that it's only Kai's projection.
