Mirrors 'n' Masquerades

Off the top of my head, a few films I love. Welles is vital
as always: the Hall of Mirrors scene at the end of "The Lady
from Shanghai"; the masquerade ball scene in "Mr Arkadin"/
"Confidential Report". Cocteau's "Orphee" ("Mirrors are the
doors through which Death comes and goes"). The masquerade
ball scene at the end of Hitchcock's "To Catch a Thief".
