I haven't seen "If" and "Easy Rider"  since they came out, but I remember
not liking either of them very much.  

Of course back then I was a major "Bonnie and Clyde" fan and felt that
neither "If" nor "Easy Rider" held a candle to "Bonnie and Clyde."

Cocteau's Orpheus from 1950.  Now THERE's a Pynchonesque flick!
