OT: 1st reading of GR

Your question is a good one.  One would think that Slothrop would begin to 
correlate his sexual liasons with the bombed locations he subsequently 
inspects.  One might even suspect that his assignment to that job was a part 
of "Their" plans for his future deployment.  But in GR nothing is ever 
clear-cut.  As you continue reading it becomes unclear whether the spots 
marked on the map are real encounters or possible just imagined ones.  
Nevertheless they seem to fortell future bombings.

I suggest you follow one of the GRGR's (group reads) in the WASTE archives.  
One started in August 1999 and continued through September 2000.  An earlier 
one started a couple years earlier, but I can't locate it at the moment.
