Great things happening? Apart from a bunch of strange figures on the 
roof of the St. James Centre in Valletta (Malta), busy in 
unprofessional Obs, not much!

(I have to say I was impressed: the idea that Pynchon might be--but I 
guess I could do without the conditional--looking at the same white 
ball with a big mole swirled and swirled in my mind... and the 
positive effects of the transit were registered in Malta, just like 
P. described them in M&D!)
