I really enjoyed Kavalier and Klay for sheer strangeness and intensity of narrative trajectory.   Would be interested to hear what you thought. I have some reservations about the actual historic uses of "golems" ( mythic heroes)to mythologize conflicts for self serving motives.

Do you wait for a honk to close your book when reading at red lights?
