Yes, you did. You sent a couple of questions to the list; I guess you were
preparing your paper. I think I even sent you some info in a polite reply
offlist to which you never responded.

But you posted the excerpt from your Malta paper ("you felt you had to") and
asked for discussion last week. Stupidly I took the bait. Most recently,
after repeatedly correcting your misrepresentations of my interpretation, I
asked for a couple of page refs about the supposed KKK allusions you
mentioned, but you wouldn't even supply those. I haven't made any
"objections and suppositions" about anything you've posted -- you haven't
even offered an alternative interpretation, only dismissed and
misrepresented mine -- and I actually don't care if you respond or not, or
when you do. So there's no need to make up excuses.

But you do seem to have an awful lot of time to flame other people on the
list about the World Cup. So it goes I guess.
