Postmodernism certainly accommodates a distinction between deliberate lying,
as with Nixon during Watergate, or Clinton saying he didn't inhale when he
smoked marijuana (cf. _MD_ 10) or have sex with Monica, or someone who
swears black and blue that they haven't posted to an email discussion list
under an array of pseudonyms when they have, and different people holding
different beliefs and perspectives on "truth" and what constitutes it,
"reality", "right and wrong", and so forth.
