Victim Zoyd

The section pp. 268 - 293 gives us a lot of very plausible 
psychoanalysis where the author has done all of the work for 
us.  The complementary twinnings, reversals and pairings work quite well.
The first paragraph on page 299 that begins "Zoyd looked back . 
. ." doesn't give us insights into Scorpios or self-destructive 
maniacs but does give us insight into the schlemiel/schlimazel 
Zoyd.  Zoyd is looking a lot more like an easy mark.
