calling it "not very good?"  I think your reasoning is "weak."

EVERYONE knows why he bothers (though some of us wish he wouldn't), which is 
also why so much abuse is flung in his direction.  See below.

I think you must be the only one on this list who believes that MalignD 
"emailed Doug's kid."  That charge was a typically Dougian hysterically 
overblown reaction attempting to get what he so craves: ATTENTION (the "why 
he bothers").
