Okay, I'll be in New York City (satying in Brooklyn)
from midday Wednesday, March 10th through the evening
of Monday, March 15th (just in time to get home for
St. Urho's Day and to avoid St. Patrick's Day in NYC).
I'll likely be hitting MoMA in Queens straight from
the airport, and have plans, I believe, with a couple
of you already for Wednesday evening, after which, Mr.
Finewine's soul spin at Botanica, on Houston (which
y'all apparently pronounce HOW-ston--no wonder the
Texans make fun of your picante sauce) if anyone's
interested ...
But of course, I'll be in town primarily for The
Whitney Biennial, and in particular for Zak Smith's
"Pictures Showing What Happens on Each Page Of Thomas
Pynchons Novel Gravitys Rainbow" ...

Opens to the public Thursday, March 11th. Hours are
11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Saturday, Sunday,
1:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, closed Monday, I'm planning
on being there at LEAST from opening Thursday 'til ...
and tehn again Saturday morning/afternoon, to meet
anyone with a day job, though i would be willing to
drop by Friday evening as well, if there are those who
can't make it otherwise. I'm tentatively hitting the
Met and maybe the Frick Sunday (have friends to
coordinate with as well), but ... well, let mw know.
I've firm plans only for Wednesday evening and later
Thursday night (The King Charles Experiment in
Williamsburg), so ...
