Hi Joel. I think we all appreciate your decision to join in with the discussion but I'd like to make
a couple of points about your discourse so far:
1: Of course flaming is okay and common on this list but please consider that your attempts so far
have been limited in scope, particularly compared to some of our more distinguished contributors.
Bear in mind that many of the regulars have had a number of years to build up their reputations as
flame mongering assholes as well as a lifetime of reading only the most aggressively uncooperative
literature and I think you'll see that it takes a very particular sort of maladjusted, shut-in
weirdo to get the sort of reputation that our most elite lunatics have garnered. Perhaps it's just
your failure to have build up a suitable "foebase" thus far, but it may also be the school yard
level of your taunts. Try deeper attacks on people's characters and political motivations coupled
with targeting specific individuals on a regular basis. If you manage to do this continuously for
several years you might, just might, become a hallowed member of our community.
2: Try to stop being a dick.
